Amcor collaborated with Mondelēz International to give Cadbury Dairy Milk a playful seasonal twist. In the UK, the brand launched its “Chill to Reveal” Summer Edition: cold-activated wrappers that transform white icons into the summer-themed images.

Mondelēz International set out to make Cadbury Dairy Milk feel playful and perfect for the summer season. Together with Amcor, that vision came to life in the “Chill to Reveal” Summer Edition - wrappers that use thermochromic ink to reveal hidden images when chilled in the fridge between 5°C and 12°C, using Amcor’s film designed for recyclability.
The launch also taps into the familiar summer question: should chocolate be stored in or out of the fridge? By turning that question into an interactive experience, the pack engages consumers in a fun and unexpected way.
Applying thermochromic ink to primary food-contact packaging required rigorous testing and ingenuity. The collaboration between Mondelēz International and Amcor made it possible to deliver food-safe, engaging packaging, all built using the trusted, recycle-ready AmPrima® solution.
