AmFiber™ and AmFoil™ and moving… there is a connection (hear me out)

My family is currently in the process of renovating our home. To help limit disruptions to our family life, we have temporarily moved into a rental home, while our home is being gutted and remodeled. So, in total my family will have moved three times — into the new house, into a rental and back to the newly renovated home. I do not recommend this. However, through these moves and packing and unpacking, you learn some tricks — more efficient ways to do things and ways to improve on past processes.
From a business point of view, most all of us do the same thing in our work approach. How can we do things better, improve upon what has been done and put lessons learned into practice? At Amcor, our research and development team are experts at this (maybe I should have asked them to help me move). For snacks and confectionary goods, AmFiber™ provides recyclable, paper-based packaging that maintains a high barrier from oxygen and moisture to protect and preserve goods. This really is a game-changing innovation.

Beyond snacks and confectionary goods, its uses will only expand further to other products such as coffee, seasoning and soups. This new packaging is made from sustainably sourced thermoformable paper that is fully recyclable, all the while maintaining the highest levels of product protection

The AmFoil™ food wrapper is made with recycled content, and is designed to be recycled after it has been used. This amazing feat brings recyclability to previously unsustainable types of packaging – such work helps bring us closer to a circular economy for packaging.
Both the AmFiber™ and AmFoil™ product ranges are helping to close the loop and keep waste out of the environment. The EcoGuard™ designation represents what Amcor has to offer in more sustainable packaging options, providing our customers solutions that offer a lower environmental impact and help give them a competitive advantage.
Whether it is through a clear explanation of what packaging is made from (for example, recycled content or biomaterials), or how it has been designed for end of life (whether recycled, composted or reused), the green Amcor EcoGuard™ symbol is a visual reminder of the many things we are doing in the sustainability space for our customers and the environment.
