Together with Amcor Flexibles, Landrin has developed a new packaging for their new sweet waffle candies, which come in three flavours: coconut, cream and chocolate.

To emphasize the premium nature of the Waferatto, Landrin has focused on the design as well as functionality of the packaging. A unique matt release lacquer adds a soft touch to the stylish design of the individual candy wrappers. A special cold seal ensures the freshness of the product is retained and keeps the candies crisp. The easy opening of the packs adds to consumer convenience.

"The combination of modern packaging and unique design allows us to position Landrin Waferatto in the premium segment of the confectionery market. Next to the superior taste of our Waferatto candies, Russian consumers like the design and appreciate the convenient and easy to open packaging," explains Yulia Mudrickaya, Marketing Director at Landrin.

Amcor Flexibles' team in Russia has been involved in the design process, pre-press work and production of the packaging. Amcor's technical know how and capabilities have helped Landrin to successfully launch their Waferatto line, which is available in stores in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

So look out for the elegant boxes containing candies with delicious cream and a touch of almond. And eagerly await the two additional varieties of Landrin Waferatto which will be launched in 2009.
