New Managing Director - Amcor Australasia

Nigel brings to Amcor an extensive background in fast moving consumer goods and a strong track record as a senior executive, including leadership of major growth projects and business turnarounds.

He has previously been the Managing Director of Chiquita Brands South Pacific Ltd and Managing Director of SPC Ltd. Most recently Nigel has been the Managing Director, Food & Services Division, Australia for Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd.

Don Matthews, who has been the interim Chief Operating Officer for Australasia since July 2008, will remain with Amcor focused on driving improvement initiatives across the Australasian businesses and supporting Nigel in his new role.
