Amcor Flexibles is proud to announce that we recently received a Gold award for Best Print at the recent 2008 FlexoTech International Print & Innovations Awards.

December 23, 2008

Amcor won the award in the category "Flexible packaging over 50 cms – process" for the film used to pack Allinson's HiBran brown bread. The entry was recognized for its overall print quality and the excellent choice of film and ink used.

The judging panel was very discerning in their selection: more than 100 entries were received in the category but no silver or bronze winners were announced. FlexoTech magazine commented that "The overall quality received in this category was much higher compared to previous years. Amcor Flexibles has been chosen as gold winner due to the excellent print result of the entry. The job sports silver as an additional colour which is printed very well in combination with the design chosen."

Duncan White, Manufacturing Manager at Amcor Flexibles Crompton Road (pictured receiving the award with Matt Dawson, Ex England Rugby Player; Chris Nuttall, UK sales manager GEW Engineering; and Lindsey Pearson, FlexoTech advertising manager), at the presentation awards dinner in London, commented: "I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of Amcor Flexibles. This accolade proves that our print quality is on the highest level. I would like to dedicate this award to our people at Amcor Flexibles Crompton Road and thank them for their daily support and dedication.”

The FlexoTech International Print & Innovations Awards have just celebrated their 10th anniversary and Amcor Flexibles is pleased to celebrate this anniversary with a Gold award.
