The project is initially known as AF Polska Greenfield and will include the relocation of the existing flexibles factory AF Polska, currently based downtown in Lodz, in addition to the installation of two new production lines. It is anticipated that this initiative will considerably increase the capacity of the existing plant, stimulate the local economy, create job opportunities, and importantly result in strengthening our customer relationship and market development.

It is intended that AF Polska will vacate its current premises by end 2010 and will move to the new Greenfield site located in the Lodz Special Economic Zone.

Amcor Flexibles Food MD Gérard Blatrix: “This plant will be equipped with the latest technology and staffed with the best talent and will be a key driver in our strategy to develop our business in the rapidly growing Central and Eastern European market. We are excited about the opportunities this will give us to grow our selected market segments and provide packaging solutions for the future.”
