“Maharani Low G.I Rice is the right choice for health conscious people or people wanting to lose weight. By using Amcor FlexCan our rice stands out on the shelf. The pack's stand-up and stackable features ensure that all the valuable information about the Glycemic index (GI) and its benefits are clearly visible,” commented Rikki Verma, Director of DCS Foods.

Market research has revealed that consumers are looking for more convenient rice packaging. Amcor FlexCan meets that need by being easy to open and reclosable. The wide opening ensures easy use and hygiene. To open, simply break the seal and push back the flap. Then, help yourself to the contents and to reclose, remove the plastic strip and pull down the flap.

Amcor FlexCan is suitable for a wide range of products. This is the first time FlexCan has been used for packing rice. The contract packing division of Universal Flexible Packaging (UFP), based in Leicester, is packing the rice on behalf of DCS Foods. UFP operates as a co-packer for most of the major multiples and independent food distributors and is organically certified and food approved to the higher level of EFSIS.

Maharani Low G.I Rice is available in health shops and at major retailers in the UK. So if you want to keep your blood sugar levels low or re-fuel your carbohydrate stores after exercising, enhance your meal with Maharani Rice.
