Food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical products and personal care supply chains have been designated as “essential” by governments across the world. We are proud to play a vital role in that supply chain.

Amcor Truck

We continue to run in all 40 countries where we have operations. Our offices and manufacturing sites have robust plans in place covering preventive measures, incident response and return to work protocols.

China and India are two examples where, despite restrictions on public movement, we have been able to continue producing vital healthcare products in a safe environment. This has been achieved by creating Covid-19 response teams, who meet regularly and monitor all developments. On site, we have strict security processes and have taken preventive measures, including dividing the factories into small areas and segregating into different teams, allowing plants to continue running. A lot of our learnings have come from China, where detailed incident response plans were first developed.

India

Our long-term relationships with suppliers, and effective contingency plans, means we have not experienced big material impacts to production and customers operate in much the same way.
Our 50,000 employees around the world have rallied together, allowing our business to satisfy the needs of food and healthcare consumers.
