Château Pichon Baron: rooted in care

Château Pichon Baron is a wine estate classified as a Second Growth since 1855, and it stands among the great historic vineyards of Bordeaux. The estate is deeply committed to safeguarding the well-being of its employees and preserving its land, resources, and biodiversity. These values are reflected in the meticulous care devoted to crafting its wines and in their choice of packaging.

The touch of Softgard Tin Overcap

Amcor's Softgard tin capsule naturally conforms to the shape of each bottle, creating a flawless fit and a seamless outline.

Thanks to the excellent crimping performance of the tin material, the overcap provides a smooth texture that offers a distinctive tactile experience. The result is soft to the touch and elegant in appearance.

Through expert forming and finishing, tin overcaps can be customized using a wide variety of textures, embossing, and print effects for differentiation and style. From standard to oversized formats, each overcap reflects a careful balance of craftsmanship and aesthetic harmony.

Made with over 90% recycled tin

Since April 2024, Amcor has incorporated over 90% recycled tin into our range of premium tin overcaps. Sourced from end-of-life products, such as car radiators and ship propellers to bronze ornaments, this tin is given a second life. Once refined, it becomes a wine and spirit capsule that retains its smooth, tactile feel and maintains the highest quality standards.

This process reflects the expectations of the wine and spirits market: packaging that's made with more sustainable materials, and at the same time delivers excellent quality and aesthetic appeal on the bottle.
