• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

About the Role
Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Cell Lead to oversee maintenance activities and drive equipment reliability within an assigned production cell. This position serves as the primary technical resource for the cell, coordinating maintenance priorities, supporting breakdown elimination efforts, and partnering with Operations and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance. The Maintenance Cell Lead plays a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime, strengthening preventive maintenance programs, and developing maintenance talent across the facility.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for an assigned production cell
• Support Operations Plus implementation and reliability improvement initiatives
• Manage and continuously improve preventive maintenance systems for assigned production lines
• Provide technical expertise to support equipment reliability and loss elimination efforts
• Coach operators and maintenance team members on equipment performance and technical best practices
• Coordinate daily maintenance work and ensure timely completion of priorities
• Partner with Engineering, Process, and Operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related equipment issues
• Serve as the escalation point for complex equipment failures
• Support root cause analysis investigations and implementation of corrective actions
• Lead breakdown elimination investigations and develop long-term reliability solutions
• Track, prioritize, and maintain work orders within the CMMS system
• Enforce safety standards, LOTO procedures, and housekeeping expectations
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians
• Communicate maintenance priorities, risks, and project updates to supervisors and engineering teams
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvements
• Identify maintenance training needs and support employee development plans
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, quality, and productivity

Must Have

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven leadership, Maintenance Lead, or Lead Technician experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and prioritizing work in a production environment
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Preferred

• Associate degree in a technical field
• Maintenance-related certification or journeyman certification
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• PLC troubleshooting experience, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems
• Experience in TPM, reliability-centered maintenance, or equipment reliability programs
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
• Experience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, and process changes
