Job Description
Quality Supervisor
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supervision, training, and mentoring the Quality Auditors and Quality Technicians. Aid Quality Engineers in reviewing root cause for quality issues and developing corrective actions. Assists and participates in the development and evaluation of the quality system.
ESSENTIAL JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities, and provides clear, consistent communications of safe work expectations.
Responsible personal adherence and training to Quality Auditors and Quality Technicians of all applicable Quality, GMP, Food Safety, and Plant Policies.
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards.
Identifies and records problems related to product, process, and quality systems.
Direct workflow of Quality Technicians and Quality Auditors to ensure tasks are completed.
Share information of any customer findings and quality issues identified internally.
Collaborates with Quality Engineers to compile and develop training material. Mentor Quality Auditors and Quality Technicians.
Works with the Quality Technicians) to identify improvement opportunities, devise sampling plans and procedures in manufacturing and quality.
Works with Quality Engineers to ensure timely disposition of discrepant material.
Create, train, and share information using Quality Alerts, presentations, and other forms of communication to share needs for acute monitoring, inspection methods, or on the job enhancements.
Responsible for payroll hours (Kronos) and vacation coverage for department employees (Quality Auditors /Quality Technicians) and progressive job performance/ disciplinary activities.
Main point of contact for quality issues on the floor and quality team.
Participates and supports internal and external quality audits.

Support the accomplishment of your work group through the quality, timeliness, and professionalism of your attitude.
Supply accurate and timely data as required by the position and assigned activities.
Apply and utilize resources available to maximize effectiveness and assuring quality Read and interpret specifications and part prints.
Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
Thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.
Ability to use gauges and measurement equipment as necessary Self-motivated and able to work independently
