Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Keep Molding Floor supplied with cartons and all WIP items needed.
- Read instructions on production order and packing guide and pack product as described or as Molding Supervisor has instructed.
- Check that each skid pulled has been initialed by Inspector
- Remove finished product from the packing stations and transport via pallet jack to the staging area or the stretch-wrap machine.
- Keep box. gaylord/ full skid count of finished product and verify this count with supervisor at shifts end. Inform oncoming staff of what box number you are currently on.
- Keep count of all scrapped product by mold and machine
- Verify scrap count at shift end and give numbers to Utility or Supervisor
- Move scrap to collection area
- Maintain work area and any related areas in an orderly, clean, and safe manner. Ensure that only materials needed to perform the job are in the working area, all other materials should be absent.
- Relieve Inspectors as needed per supervisor or schedule
- Be familiar with all ISO, GMP, and SQF guidelines/ instructions related to your work
Qualifications:
- Previous Utility experience is a plus
- Able to operate a pallet jack with proper certification, safely
- Knowledge of SQF guidelines and ISO procedures
The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $17.50; however starting pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience between $17.50 and $20.50 per hour.
