Job Description
Pay: $28-$40/hour based on experience
Shift Premium: $1.20/hour for nights
Additional Pay: 1.5x pay on Sundays for employees working the 2-2-3 schedule
Schedule:
- 2-2-3 Straight Days, 12-hour shifts
- 2-2-3 Straight Nights, 12-hour shifts

About the Role
Amcor is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maximizing production output through equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and building system support. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while helping ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities
- Perform repairs on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Create and manage work orders using SAP
- Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing process issues to maximize output
- Support development projects with R&D, manufacturing teams, and outside vendors
- Serve as a technical resource for plant personnel
- Follow established procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements
Must Have
- Minimum 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley 500 and 5000)
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to wire industrial machinery up to 480 volts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Valid electrician's license or certification
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience with shop tools
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
