Job Description
Responsible for payroll processing on multiple payroll cycles for the US, Canada and Puerto Rico (as assigned) which includes 12 legal entities, 5 business groups and approximately 13,500 employees. Provide payroll support including auditing payroll for completion and accuracy. Provide high quality service to internal and external customers regarding all aspects of payroll processing
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Accurately compiles payroll data to maintain records including: creating timecard files, running Workday load timecard process and balancing necessary totals
- Effectively troubleshoots, resolves and communicates issues appropriately
- Ensures timely, accurate payroll processing with minimal errors
- Participates in special projects to drive process improvements as assigned
- Preps data into multiple Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) files that are then tested, validated and loaded into the payroll system.
- Provides back-up assistance to other Payroll Administrators as needed
- Responsible and accountable for processing and settling large multi-million dollar payrolls covering multiple pay cycles
- Responsible for accurate entry of earnings and deductions associated with overtime, incentive pay, educational reimbursement, adoption assistance, union dues, safety shoe program, etc
- Responsible for maintaining, reviewing and responding to inquiries from internal and external customers within established SLA’s and quality measures
- Supports consistency and applies a continuous improvement framework to program implementation, administration and service level agreements
- Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR, Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of payroll experience required including 1 year in payroll processing
- FPC or CPP certification preferred
- Technical knowledge of HR information systems preferred; UKG and Workday experience a plus
- Experience in a complex, manufacturing, multiple employee group organization preferred
