Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Maintain the Quality Assurance Lab, QA Ignition Software and QA Robots on the floor 

Communicate with QA Inspectors and QA Technicians from all shifts 

Support training of QA Technicians to help solidify the QA department 

Monitor and report on processes and controls 

Troubleshoot potential quality issues  

Improve measurement techniques and testing 

Monitor, maintain, and oversee gauge calibrations/verifications in all labs and QA Robots 

Educate QA Inspectors and QA Technicians on procedures regarding new products or tests  

Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customers and Product Development  

Work with departments on CQV runs, size studies, or other special runs or samples 

Maintain SPC database 

Ability to work any shift and overtime as required 

Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements. 

Any other duties as required by the leadership team. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:  

High school diploma or GED 

Ability to calculate parts requirements 

Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously 

Previous quality assurance experience preferred 

Computer skills ( Proficient in Excel , Minitab, SPC, and Ignition ) 

Ability to travel as necessary 

Ability to lift 40lbs occasionally 

Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
