Job Description

SUMMARY

The Quality Auditor is responsible for the inspection and audit of all production areas (molding, lining, deco, and labeling) as required by customer or internal quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Audit, inspect, and test production parts for visual attributes and functionality. Reject and document defective product internally and assist associates in doing so based upon results of audit. Record inspection results and comments into data collection system.

2. Create defect notification documents and Nonconformance Material Reports (NCMRs) for internal quality concerns.

3. Utilize the ERP system to place inventory on blocked status and release product from blocked status as necessary.

4. Review work orders for products under production for completeness and accuracy. Verify actual production matches work order in all respects (correct part, correct raw materials, correct work center).

5. Use various gauges to test parts for compliance to standards.

6. Conduct challenges to vision system by introducing parts through the vision system to ensure they are properly rejected and record results in the data collection system.

7. Validate mold processes match process sheets for each machine and record results in the data collection system.

8. Audit Start-up procedures for correct documentation, implementation, and defective parts.

9. Verify and validate endo forum (EOR) and line clearance process for completeness and accuracy.

10. Observe production work centers during operation for compliance to GMP and Safety standards.

11. Complete other quality records as needed as outlined in the training plan. 12. Any other duties as assigned to support the Quality Department in completing its tasks and meeting its goals

13. Provide assistance to production and maintenance staff as required.

3. Maintain a work environment which will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMP compliance.

4. Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detail in the performance of your work.

5. Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance.

6. Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner.

7. Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Strong organizational skills and communication skills (written and verbal)

2. Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Windows type applications. 3. Self-motivated and able to work independently

4. Knowledge of GMP and personal hygiene requirements

5. Knowledge of defects and non-conformance guidelines
