Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
Join Amcor as a MRO Buyer where you will be responsible for procurement of necessary parts through external vendors. Work independently on projects and tasks that are typically complex and require research, original thinking and action.
Schedule:
Shift: Monday through Friday days

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
What you’ll do:
Lead customer contact for service technicians performing outsourced routine maintenance services
Request rebuild quotes for common equipment with local vendors
Request spare part quotes from OEM's based on maintenance needs
Receive and process requests for purchase on parts and other items
Enter purchase order data for approval and assignment
Maintain documentation following company guidelines
Develop and maintain inventory system
Maintain stock levels of parts, critical emergency stock, motor/gear box rack parts and die shop part storage
Execute contractor paperwork including new vendor onboarding, contractor safety paperwork and annual reviews

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Strong interpersonal skills
Good computer skills
Basic math skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Valid drivers license
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Up to half the shift performing office work
