Job Description

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Acts as key resource for the Data Department with a primary focus on data creation and maintenance, in collaboration with appropriate business resources, to ensure complete and accurate data.
  • Act as the back-up for designated team members. Adheres to and assigns appropriate back-up strategies to ensure there is no disruption to service or department level KPIs.
  • Supports daily creation & maintenance activities by extracting and analyzing of system information to support customer service, graphics, planning, manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain functions.
  • Lead system deployment activities with adherence to project deadlines and data accuracy.
  • Initiate and participate in problem solving sessions in order to identify root cause and corrective actions. Investigate and present findings. Assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Follow, maintain, and assist with the development of  business data standards and procedures across the business. Maintains strong understanding of downstream impacts on all departments. Proactively seeks out cross-functional relationships with plant and corporate partners to improve end to end processes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve escalated issues related to customer orders, plant requests, workflow projects and graphics issues in order to meet or customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to promote data accuracy, governance and standard work across all Amcor plants. 
  • Develop and maintain the Amcor standard data processes, and comply with service level agreements to support our customer-centric organization.  Seek out learning opportunities for self and peers and provide training to support continued education of standard work and best practices.
  • Subject matter expert for daily processes and procedures. Support and assists in leading project work as assigned by project manager.
  • Accountable for system data accuracy, integrity, and completeness within multiple Amcor systems including, but not limited to WebCenter, GEM, SAP and Specification Maintenance System. Identifies and assists with data governance activities that support system consistency and reliability.
  • Identify training and growth opportunities for yourself and peers. Participate in onboarding and mentoring new teammates. Able to interpret and explain the documentation required to facilitate data creation and maintenance in multiple market segments and product types while adhering to established department KPIs.
  • Responsible for leading the data creation activities to support onboarding of new Customers and assist in end-to-end transfers between all Amcor Flexibles North America plants.
  • Possesses the technical knowledge and intermediate trouble shooting skills required to quickly identify and execute data changes that have a real-time impact to customer products and manufacturing processes.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of successful experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or Customer Service environment
  • Basic technical knowledge of SAP system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Basic analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong communication and intermediate problem solving skills with the ability to organize and disseminate information efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
