CTP & Graphics Specialist (Offset Printing)

Qualifications

• Preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree, minimum High School graduate.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.

• Result-oriented and self-motivated.

• Proficient in using MS Office applications.

• At least 3 years of experience in CTP machine operation and graphic area within the offset printing and packaging sector.

• Strong technical knowledge of ink, offset printing, and graphics.

• No restrictions on travel.

• For male candidates, military service obligation completed or exempt.

Job Description

• Produce plates on the CTP machine using knowledge and experience of production capabilities to ensure design control prior to new product launches.

• Make necessary adjustments on the data prepared by the product development team, adding marks and additional elements required for printing to prevent potential problems during production.

• Interpret print according to production requirements, make necessary enhancements to data, and standardize processes.

• Take responsibility for the CTP section, identify its needs, and perform autonomous machine maintenance.

• Define, develop, and implement plans for cost reduction, waste reduction, efficiency improvement, and general process enhancements. Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Product Development departments.

• Support continuous improvement and procurement savings projects regarding process optimization, raw material consumption reduction, waste reduction, and cost reduction.

• Work together with Product Development, Production, and Quality teams to prevent quality issues and achieve right-first-time production.

• Act as a communication bridge between production, quality, product development, procurement, and suppliers; inform all relevant departments about quality and production processes, and provide regular technical updates.

• Reports to the Technologist and deputizes for the Technologist in their absence.
