About the role

As a Working Student in the Legal Department, you will support the Amcor Rigids EMEA Legal team in a broad range of day-to-day legal matters and gain practical insight into the work of an international in-house legal function. The role is designed for a legally qualified candidate who has completed the first German state examination in law and is looking to apply legal knowledge in a business-oriented environment.

In this role, you will assist with legal research, contract review, preparation of legal documents, compliance-related tasks and legal operations projects. You will work on commercial, corporate, contract and compliance topics while learning how legal advice is delivered in close alignment with business needs.

You will collaborate closely with members of the Legal team and, where appropriate, with internal stakeholders across the business. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to real legal matters, develop practical drafting and analytical skills, and build a strong understanding of legal work in a global manufacturing and packaging company.

The Working Student will be expected to work accurately, reliably and with a high level of discretion, while receiving guidance and support from experienced legal professionals. The role provides meaningful exposure to in-house legal processes and the opportunity to take ownership of assigned tasks within defined areas.

This position reports to the business group General Counsel and works in close coordination with the wider Legal team.
