Operations Excellence and Production Manager (Sub Gerente)

Job Overview:

Amcor Wine & Spirits is looking for an Operations Excellence and Production Manager to lead continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives at our Santiago manufacturing site. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, embedding the Amcor Manufacturing System (AMS), and delivering sustainable improvements across production, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support operational transformation initiatives across the plant.
• Identify improvement opportunities and establish ambitious performance targets.
• Implement and sustain the Amcor Manufacturing System (AMS).
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs, including OEE, Quality, Waste, and On-Time Delivery.
• Engage, coach, and develop teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and support a One Amcor approach.
• Deliver training and capability-building programs to strengthen operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar roles.
• Proven experience implementing operational excellence systems within manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation and change initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
