About the Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing Amcor's presence in the Netherlands market within the Beauty & Wellness sector, managing a customer portfolio of approximately €3 million in annual turnover across 25 to 30 accounts. The role combines strategic account management with proactive business development across key rigid packaging categories including dispensing systems, applicators, closures and containers. There is also potential to cover parts of the DACH region depending on customer allocation. The position offers a clear progression path towards a Senior Sales Manager role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market presence across strategic Beauty & Wellness rigid packaging categories in the Netherlands
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored packaging solutions
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the sales pipeline and convert them into revenue
  • Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet commercial objectives
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement, adjusting strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Research & Development, Product Marketing and Operations to align sales strategies with broader business goals
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges and future plans

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the rigid packaging industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Beauty & Wellness market in the Netherlands
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Fluent in English & Dutch is a strong advantage given the market focus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong presentation skills and experience reporting to senior management are a plus
