About the role
The Global Excellence Training Manager is a versatile expert who oversees the full training lifecycle. S/he is the owner of the training strategy development and implementation globally. This includes designing and delivering content, managing reporting and evaluation, delivering leadership programs, and building a global network of trainers. In this role, the manager is responsible for developing procurement talent by equipping teams with both the technical and soft skills needed to succeed in their day-to-day work.
Key Job Accountabilities
Training Content
- Develop, implement and own the Training Strategy for Procurement globally.
- Create content from scratch (in collaboration with content owner) to continuously update and/or develop training content in Articulate 360 – that is in Rise and Storyline
- Work on translations of content to all relevant languages
- Create, edit and deploy training videos (for example via Clipchamp or other tools)
- Develop soft skill training for procurement in collaboration with HR and the Global Training Team
Training Delivery
- Communicate and deliver existing and new training as per need
- Develop a network of training champions and train the trainer campaigns to have a network of trainers across all BGs
- Assure that training is following the FAST strategy (Fun, Applicable, Short and Timely)
Leadership Programs
- Develop Procurement Leadership programs in collaboration with HR and the Global Training Team to develop Junior leaders and provide new perspectives for senior leaders.
- Train trainers to execute programs in person across all BGs
- Research external partners to develop high quality leadership material (incl. Coaching, Mentoring, Leadership etc.)
Performance Tracking
- Training Dashboard: Define and track all training KPIs Globally and for all BGs, including completion on time etc.
- Feedback Tracking: Collect feedback on training and use it to update / change training for the future
- Training Effectiveness: Develop a framework to measure training effectiveness and report out
- Owns, updates and runs the Competency assessment for procurement globally, develops at minimum an annual report-out and creates gap-closure proposal
MasterClass (or other)
- Develop and deploy the strategy to run MasterClass globally in all BGs
- Collect feedback to prioritize the best and most efficient forms of sharing the limited licenses
- Benchmark against other market providers of similar services
Other
- Assist the team with PMO tasks to complete procurement excellence projects
- Support team members in delivering results as per own expertise
Qualifications/Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in similar field
- Knowledge of Articulate 360 as a training development tool as an advantage
- Prior training development & delivery experience is a plus
- Experience in developing Senior / Leadership Programs is an advantage
- Knowledge of Copilot Agents and Power BI is an advantage
- Curiosity to continuously improve the existing content and delivery of training
- End to end ownership of the training agenda
- Advanced Communication and Storytelling skills
- Advanced English skills with other languages preferred (esp. Portuguese, French, Spanish, German or Mandarin)
- Resilience, Agility, Attention to details and advanced stakeholder management skills are a must
- Curiosity to continuously improve the existing content and delivery of training
