The next program will start in October 2026. The location of the contract may be based in Germany (preferred) or Italy, depending on the successful candidate. This 18 months development opportunity consist of 3 rotations across Amcor plants in Europe.

As an Amcor Graduate you will gain insight into the assigned function from different perspectives – by supporting plant-based daily activities as well as being involved in the central European projects, together with your Manager and Supervisors. You will have a chance to prove your skills on different levels, getting involved with various projects and collaborating with numerous stakeholders with different background, experience, and seniority. Our Graduate Program is designed for creative and motivated thinkers who love learning and taking on new challenges and responsibilities, not afraid of dealing with ambiguity and change.
In your role as Lean Manufacturing Graduate in the Operations department, you will :
- Get well – rounded understanding of production processes for beverage packaging products, by working closely with Regional Operations Director , as well as Plant Operations Managers
- Collaborate cross – functionally with production, maintenance, engineering and quality teams during process improvement and automation projects
- Support Lean Management and digitalization initiatives focused on process optimization, operations efficiency and cost reduction
- Analyse and calculate business benefits after rollout of improvement projects
- Contribute to development of lean production layout to optimize material flow, workspace utilization and workforce efficiency
- Identify savings opportunities related to production flow, logistics, operational processes
- Support plant leaders in CI projects, using Leand Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Support innovation engineering initiatives through automation and digital transformation projects – building Python or BI based tools to automate reporting, process analysing and operational data handling
- Integrate and transfer data from various ERP systems into Power BI dashboard and reporting solutions
- Analyse industrial KPIs, production performance metrics, and logistics data to support operational decision-making
- Collaborate with production, logistics, engineering and quality teams to identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
What do you need?
It’s a good start to have the following:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related fields
- Internship or work experience within industrial environment, managing process engineering, CI, production management or related fields – required
- MS office advanced knowledge including Excel expertise requested, strong Power BI skills
- Some knowledge of programming tools like Python, SQL
- Understanding of lean management tools and principles (Kaizen, 55, Six Sigma etc)
- Understanding of project management tools, experience in managing projects or project management certificate as an advantage
- MS office advanced knowledge including Excel expertise requested , Power BI skills
- Fluency in English. German or Italian required.

- First international study or work experience as an asset
- Willingness to travel and work abroad across Europe
- Permanent work & residence permit allowing to work across entire EU
