Operations Graduate Program 

Each year we are looking for a group of  Graduates interested joining our Graduate Program in various functions: R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, PMO and more. 

The next program will start in October 2026 and the contract of this role will be based in France (Saint-Georges-de-Reneins or Cusset plants) followed by 1-2 international rotations in Europe.

As an Amcor Graduate you will gain insight into the assigned function from different perspectives – by supporting plant-based daily activities as well as being involved in the central European projects, together with your Manager and Supervisors. You will have a chance to prove your skills on different levels, getting involved with various projects and collaborating with stakeholders with different background, experience, and seniority. Our Graduate Program is designed for creative and motivated thinkers who love learning and taking on new challenges and responsibilities, not afraid of dealing with ambiguity and change.  

Operations Graduate Program is the unique opportunity to work alongside regional Operations Director and Plant Operations Managers within the network of plants to gain the insights into: 

  • Manufacturing processes within rigid and flexible packaging industry 

  • Learn manufacturing process and customer requirements for packaging products from different industries (Food, Beverage, Healthcare, Beauty &Wellness)  

  • Develop multi-functional skills in a team of experienced and passionate packaging professionals 

  • Understand global supply chain of rigid packaging 

The program is designed to equip you with necessary skills and competencies, via differentiated projects, tasks and learnings, to become a successful process engineer within packaging business. You will be involved in several projects, such as: 

  • Production capacity transfer between locations 

  • Operational excellence initiatives: 5S or lean savings projects management, problem solving (support on root cause analysis / actions plan follow-up), solution proposal and deployment in accordance to lean manufacturing principles) 

  • Collaborating pro-actively with teams and sites across Amcor to leverage best practices and harmonize processes, with CI approach in mind 

 What do you need? 

 It’s a good start to have the following: 

  • Higher degree in Industrial EngineeringMechanical Engineering, Quality Management,  or Production Engineering 

  • Internship or work experience within industrial environment, managing process engineering, CI, production management, quality management or related fields 

  • Interest and willingness to work in the production environment in the packaging industry 

  • Understanding of project management tools, experience in managing projects or project management certificate (e.g. Prosci) advantageous 

  • MS office advanced knowledge including Excel expertise requested , Power BI skills as an asset 

  • Fluency in English & French is required. Spanish or Dutch as a plus.  

  • Analytical skills, with ability to understand root causes and propose improvement actions 

  • Ability to bring structure to the processes 

  • Proactivity and focus on results 

  • Flexibility & adaptability 

  • Collaboration skills and ability to work in a team 

  • First international study or work experience as an asset 

  • Willingness to travel and work abroad across Europe 

  • Permanent work permit in the EU
