Role Summary
The HR Specialist, HR Operations Projects supports the Process Lead in driving the successful implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement of Workday across the APAC region.
In addition, this role supports key HR transformation initiatives, including HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) setup, while ensuring effective HR operations delivery through process standardization, HR data governance, reporting, analytics, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Implementation & PMO Support
- Support the Process Lead and Data Lead in executing assigned Workday implementation plans across APAC, ensuring project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Track progress across Workday modules and related functional areas.
- Coordinate governance, status reporting, issue tracking, and project activities across stakeholders.
- Analyze HR processes and translate business requirements into system and process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Lead on data-related workstreams, including data migration, validation, and reporting requirements, ensuring alignment between process and data design.
- Lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Support change management through SOPs, user guides, training, and communication.
HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) Implementation
- Support setup and transition of HR transactional services into HRSSC.
- Coordinate migration timelines for key HR processes including onboarding, employee data, benefits, payroll coordination, and offboarding.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the HRSSC operating model, governance, service catalogue, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Support employee service channels, ticketing systems, and service quality during go-live and stabilization.
HR Operations & Reporting
- Drive HR data governance, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure data quality and integrity in Workday through regular audits, data validation, and issue resolution, in alignment with established HR data governance standards.
- Perform periodic data audits and partner with relevant stakeholders to address discrepancies and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor service standards, KPIs, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Relationships
- Internal: Business Unit HR teams, HR COEs, HRBP, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders
- External: System/technology providers
Knowledge & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, Workday implementation, HR transformation, or Shared Services.
- Experience supporting Workday implementation, HRSSC setup, or regional HR transformation initiatives preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and HR governance.
- Strong Excel and data analytics skills.
- Experience working in regional or multinational environments is an advantage.
