ZURICH, September 8, 2026 — Amcor (NYSE: AMCR, ASX: AMC), a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, is continuing to expand its ranges of refillable and refill packaging in different materials and formats for beauty and personal care products. This offers customers the benefits of both rigid and flexible solutions from a single supplier to meet increasing demand in the sector.

With recent research indicating that more than 74% of consumers want more reusable, refillable or returnable packaging1, Amcor is able to use its design and technical expertise to provide complete solutions, tailoring packs precisely to individual product or brand requirements by producing both the original container and refill elements.

“For the personal care sector, a 2025 Innova Market Insights survey found that 42% of global consumers chose brands with refillable packaging options last year, and 25% overall opted for product alternatives that were packaged in refillable options2,” said Lara Alemany, product line director, Amcor Global Rigid Packaging Solutions. “We are therefore developing products to help companies maximize opportunities, with particular interest currently in refill solutions for soap and bath products.”

The Amcor product portfolio comprises a wide range of refillable containers in a variety of sizes, which can be paired with an extensive choice of closures and dispensers. Recent introductions include the customizable Mocha bottle, which is available with different closures and pumps, such as the mono material Wave 2cc. For the refill cycle, Amcor provides a full range of AmPrima® recycle-ready spouted stand-up pouches in sizes from 30 ml to 2 litres, providing a robust and leak-proof solution, optimized for e-commerce delivery.

To further support circularity goals, these refillable and refill solutions can also incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) material

“The key focus for all our development work is to ensure that refill and refillable packs continue to combine aesthetics and functionality to promote and support brand image,” said Lara Alemany. “Such benefits also help to reinforce consumer perceptions of the enhanced value for money from purchasing these packs.

“Equally important for companies, the availability of high-quality refill solutions will help them to meet one of the key requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).”
