Evansville, April 21, 2026 - Amcor (NYSE: AMCR, ASX: AMC), a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, announced that new capacity to support DecoFusion™ hybrid tube technology at its facility in Easthampton, Massachusetts, is fully commissioned and production ready. DecoFusion combines an extruded tube’s seamless construction and premium feel with high-quality, photorealistic graphics to help brands achieve next-level precision decoration so their products can catch the eyes of consumers from every angle – all while including consumer-relevant sustainability attributes.
This is the first time hybrid tube technology has been offered in the North American market. To support DecoFusion, Amcor invested in major upgrades at Easthampton, including new production lines inaugurated at a recent ribbon-cutting celebration with employees. The DecoFusion supply chain is fully integrated from resin pellet to substrate, decoration, finished tube and closure, providing customers with a dependably “seamless” experience for their seamless tubes.
“Our teams in Easthampton and across the network have been working diligently over the past year to bring DecoFusion to life so our customers and their consumers can experience the very best in tube packaging,” said Brian Jacobi, vice president and general manager of sales for Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions North America. “We are excited to grow alongside our customers with this solution and to continue deepening our roots in the Easthampton community.”
Easy to integrate into existing filling lines, the DecoFusion technology empowers Amcor’s customers to bring vivid packaging to life, with features like 360-degree decoration and over-the-shoulder printing for full graphic coverage at label quality. Additionally, customizable closures can align with graphics on the tube, and barrier layer options can extend shelf life. Consumers will also love the feel of premium DecoFusion tubes, which are easy to squeeze while still maintaining a firm rebound.
To meet consumers’ growing interest in more sustainable product packaging, DecoFusion tubes can incorporate up to 75% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content as well as weight savings of up to 27% compared to standard tubes.
“DecoFusion technology offers our tube customers more sustainable options that help them meet consumers’ rising expectations for premium look and feel and ease of use,” Jacobi said.
