Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: 2-2-3 Schedule | 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Training Schedule: Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, until training is completed
Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Charlotte manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment to support safe and efficient plant operations.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 2–4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, a very strong electrical troubleshooting background, and solid mechanical skills. Experience working with injection molding equipment or in an injection molding manufacturing environment is highly preferred/helpful.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently, diagnosing equipment problems, and performing repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing machinery and related equipment.
- Test, troubleshoot, repair, and replace electric motors.
- Test, troubleshoot, repair, and replace electric heaters and heating components.
- Test, troubleshoot, repair, and replace contactors, relays, breakers, and fuses.
- Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, including stop/start circuits.
- Diagnose and replace electrical control components such as proximity switches, laser sensors, and other industrial sensors.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment failures.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Follow all company safety procedures and electrical safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance personnel to identify equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
Required Electrical Skills
Candidates must possess very strong electrical troubleshooting skills and sufficient electrical knowledge to safely diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
Experience should include:
- Electric motors
- Electric heaters/heating circuits
- Contactors
- Relays
- Circuit breakers
- Fuses
- Stop/start control circuits
- Proximity switches
- Laser sensors
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting and testing
Candidates must successfully complete the company's CEW Electrical Class and required electrical testing within the first 30 days of employment.
Required Mechanical Skills
A strong mechanical background is required, including experience working with:

Required Hydraulic Skills
Candidates should have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and/or maintaining:
- Hydraulic pumps
- Hydraulic pressure systems
- Hydraulic hoses
- O-rings
- Seals
- Hydraulic gear motors
Qualifications
- Approximately 2–4+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot industrial control circuits.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to successfully complete the company's CEW Electrical Class/testing within the first 30 days of employment.
- Injection molding experience is preferred and would be a strong plus.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work the required night-shift 2-2-3 schedule after training is completed.
