Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator/CDL driver is responsible to Pick loads, load trailers, stage product for pickup, pull product, move product with lift truck/turret truck within the warehouse. Drive yard trucks and over-over-the road semi-tractor trailer trucks between warehouse locations.
· Moves product from staging area to designated area within the warehouse
· Drives lift truck/turret trucks or yard trailers trucks as required
· Maintains row tags for material staged on the floor
· Works overtime when required
· Operates the forklift to move materials to the lines as needed
· Inspects all pallets for accuracy in regards to weight and correct
· Loads racks in warehouse with finished goods.
· Maintains proper housekeeping while performing duties
· Required to assist wherever needed
· Responsible for operating the forklift in a safe manner at all times
· Performs safety check before using forklift or truck each shift
· Adheres to Attendance guidelines
· Follows all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Essential Physical Requirements:
· Sitting to drive a truck as required as much as 100% of workday
· Standing and walking for as much as 70% of workday
· Reaching with hands and arms for as much as 75% of workday
· Climbing or balancing for as much as 25% of workday
· Kneeling, stooping, crouching or crawling for as much as 10% of workday
· Bending, twisting, reaching and leaning for as much as 100% of workday
· Talking to communicate with direct reports for as much as 100% of workday
· Hearing to communicate with direct reports for as much as 100% of workday
· Using arms to grasp, handle and type for as much as 75% of workday
· The employee in this job is required to exert 60 pounds of force occasionally (less than 1/3 of time); and/or up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (less than 1/3); and/or up to 30 pounds of force regularly (more than 2/3 of the total time)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. CDL License required.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year overl-the-road experience. Six months in a shipping / warehouse environment
Special Skills:
· Understand methods of shipping/loading requirements, weight requirements, and customers’ special instructions
· Must be detail oriented
· Good math skills a plus
