Position objective:

Ensuring technological preparation and implementation of production. 

MAIN ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE EMPLOYEE IN THIS POSITION

• Developing technological parameters for order  processing according to the company's production conditions and consumer requirements. 
• Launch new orders, check normative values related to time and quantity of materials for order preparation and launch, adjust technological process parameters, record data in an electronic database.
• Calculate material and labour consumption standards for products and technological processes.
• Launch orders for the production of test rolls and organise and control their production.
• Work with other technologists to develop new technological processes and optimal production modes; ensure that designs comply with technical specifications; maintain high product quality; reduce material and labour costs for production.
• Introduce changes related to modifications of technological processes and production modes into the technological documentation and consult them with company departments.
• Discuss with the quality control department whether it is possible to use certain materials in production, adjust the parameters of the technological process of material processing; check for defects in production, develop preventive measures.
• Check whether production operators comply with the specified parameters of the technological process.  Detect violations of technological discipline and take measures to eliminate them. 
• Detect deficiencies in technological processes and technological equipment (engraved, raster and mould cylinders, squeegee chambers, etc.) that threaten the stability of product quality. 
• Develop and submit proposals to the production manager for improving technological processes, reducing the consumption of raw materials, materials and labour, and increasing product quality and labour productivity.
• Cooperate in the preparation of technical specifications for designs of non-standard equipment, tools, equipment and special tools.
• Cooperate in testing technological equipment and in trial operations carried out for the purpose of checking and mastering technological processes, working modes and new materials.
• Systematically study the causes of defects in production and participate in the preparation of preventive measures to eliminate them. 
• Participate in the inspection of equipment in terms of technological accuracy, determine the range of measured parameters and optimal measurement accuracy standards.
• Participate in training employees and teach them how to properly set up equipment and how to check technological parameters

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE AREA:
•    Cleaning the workplace and designated areas

•    Compliance with occupational safety and fire protection principles
•    Use of PPE specified by the employer
•    Participation in training and mandatory examinations; undergoing regular medical examinations.
•    Within the scope of their powers and competences, they are responsible for compliance with all defined quality requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years in a similar position
• University degree in a technical field 
• At least 1 year of practical experience as a technologist
• Technical and analytical thinking
• Communicative knowledge of English
• Manual dexterity
• Effective communication

• Diligence, independence, responsibility, analytical thinking, initiative
• Active knowledge of MS Office
