Responsibilities:

Your role will consist of but not be limited to the following tasks:

  • Managing annual sustainability reporting process, including the GRI report and Sustainability Review, by determining material issues, researching required information, preparing the copy, and working with assurance provider and Amcor Corporate Communications team to publish reports
  • Managing global partnerships with the World Food Programme, the Ocean Conservancy, and the Earthwatch Institute as well as other partners as needed
  • Working closely with Amcor Business Group sustainability leaders to assure that corporate initiatives are implemented
  • Liaising with Amcor Corporation Communications to ensure visibility of Amcor sustainability activities internally and externally
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Amcor’s sustainability strategy and action plan, responding to market conditions and stakeholder interests, and positioning Amcor’s sustainability program as a source of growth and profitability
  • Coordinating with Sustainability Analysts to ensure accurate reporting
  • Representing Amcor on industry organizations and at conferences

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Business or Sustainability, MBA preferred
  • Three to five years of experience
  • Demonstrated professional work characteristics including high initiative, dependability, and credibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Ability to maintain and deal with confidential information
  • Must be well organized and comfortable interfacing with all levels of management
  • Plans, organizes, and controls large work volume in fast-paced environment

Expected Travel:  10% Travel
