An experienced leader, change agent, and high energy individual with a demonstrated track record of exceeded value delivery (price savings, total cost, efficiency, innovation, growth, and on time execution) whom is technically skilled and knowledgeable in world class strategic sourcing category management practices and toolkits: developing and implementing Strategic Sourcing processes and procedures; has implemented enterprise wide procurement category management best practices; and can develop strong relationships both internally and externally, and continuously leading external sourcing practice benchmarking  efforts.  

Leadership and People Management

  • Ensure the right people are in the right place with the appropriate support to contribute to operating plan in order to deliver financial results in line with agreed budget

Strategy Development  and Strategy Implementation

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective procurement strategies so as to ensure quality of services and improved value
  • Set clear standards with respect to Procurement and ensure consistency with Amcor requirements and standards
  • Identify trends and/or issues that need improvement           
  • Translate the purchasing strategy in concrete actions plans in order to satisfy customer needs, company targets and quality / safety norms and standards
  • Ensure that Procurement is integrated in core business processes
  • Ensure that the needs of the Sites are effectively represented in the Purchasing Strategies and to achieve this must work closely with the Site Management
  • Negotiation

  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers in order to negotiate more innovative and beneficial contractual agreements and service levels
  • Manage negotiation process, content and results. Lead the negotiation team to define the desired outcome of a negotiation
  • Relationship Management

  • Identify stakeholders; understand and interpret their current and future needs, and manage their expectations. Give advice and build long-term value partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with relevant departments to ensure understanding and compliance with key procurement strategies and policies
  • Financial Planning

  • Ensure that financial resource allocation is cost-effective and aligned with strategic and operational plans
  • Build an accurate forecast for category price movements
  • Provide periodic and ad hoc reports and forecasts on performance against plan
  • Occupational Health, Safety and Environment as well as Quality

  • Work in accordance with the responsibilities and authorities for OHSE and Quality
