Amcor TapeTop is a unique new pack design which enables a reclosing mechanism to be incorporated into bags suitable for a wide range of products. The concept is ideal for any product typically not finished in one serving or use, such as confectionery, snacks and produce packs.
Amcor TapeTop utilises a pre-cut band to give multiple reclosure of the pack. A small modifcation to a Vertical-Form-Fill-Seal machine allows a cut-and-transfer method to position the TapeTop strip onto the bag using hotmelt adhesive.
A superior alternative to using reseal labels, Amcor TapeTop offers operational benefits to manufacturers, also providing hygiene and convenience benefits to consumers. The TapeTop strip is fully printable from the same colour set as the main pack, and the TapeTop strip can reveal a hidden message – “Re-Buy”.
