Amcor’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative is known as the teamcor Community Engagement Program.
The teamcor Community Engagement Program encourages and supports the Amcor staff to work collaboratively with community groups and organisations to build capacity, improve wellbeing, and produce outcomes in the interests of people,communities, and the company, with a specific focus on environmental sustainability through water conservation.

The national “Water Giving” project was launched in May 2008, at the manufacturing site in Moorabbin. This project involves harvesting rain water from the roof at manufacturing sites and giving this to the community to use to address a local need. Employees and community groups are engaged in a collaborative process to determine how the collected water will be used at the local level to support water conservation.
